David and I used to subscribe to Netflix. They had this available on Instant Queue. I watched it by myself one day because I didn't think it would be any good. Clay animation isn't always what it's cracked up to be. But, this is the most wonderfully animated and the most lovely story. Mary lives in Australia with her reclusive taxidermist father and her alcoholic kleptomaniac mother. She finds a pen pal in Max who lives in New York City. There relationship is tragic and beautiful. Misunderstandings through their letters cause unrest between them. But, what Max does with Mary's letters is so wonderful. This is must see. If you don't belong to netflix, you can rent it from Amazon for $2.99. Well worth the money.
Living in a house along the Columbia River in Portland, OR with my life partner David and our four cats. This is my journal of the rollercoaster ride that is our lives, observations of things I find interesting and food, food and more food.
