LMAO

OMG!!!  This book is a kick in the pants.  It’s not an alternate universe, it is a place that humans can only see if they are invited to see it.  The characters are witty and humorous, but real.  The hunchbacks have their own union.  A werewolf that turns human on the full moon.  A pet giant spider.  A brain that communicates through an Etch-A-Sketch.  And a mad scientist trying to make the world better for all of the ‘other’ world that includes Cyclops, vampires, werewolves and any other creature that ‘man’ sees as simply mythical or fictional.  Her greatest triumph so far is her invention of varlic.  You have to read the book to figure that out and why it has made life for vampires infinitely better.  There hasn’t been a book to come out this good and bizarre since ‘The Ultimate Guide To the Universe’.  Yes, there is definitely a Douglas Adams feel to this book.
