| They shall sacrifice themselves for the future of French fries everywhere |
When we were closing out my home office there happened to be a small George Foreman grill in the kitchen area. Nobody claimed it and so I snagged it. It's great if you're just doing something for yourself, but not so much so if you are trying to cook something for two or more. I was considering going out and getting a bigger one. But, now I don't have to. Our adopted mom is having to move and is needing assistance in packing her stuff. I went out there the other day to help and she had a large grill that she said she never used. She asked if I wanted it and, well, DUH!!!! Now we have a large one. That night I decided that we needed to do grilled Yukon Gold potato slices. They turned out great!!! Tonight we are having Italian beef sandwiches. And what would go great with those?? Grilled French fries. This is a trial and those four potatoes are sacrificing themselves for the experiment. Wish them luck that they turn out. Will let you know and also post the Italian Beef recipe. The meat is delicious and it freezes really well. This is good because it makes a lot.
