Cookies

Since our trip to the San Juan Islands is so special, I decided to make special cookies.  We both love peanut butter cookies and I saw this at Safeway and made the cookies with it.

Chocolate and peanut butter all in one jar

Here are all of the ingredients

3/4 cup peanut butter

1/2 cup butter flavor Crisco

3 Tblsp. milk

1 Tblsp. vanilla

1 large egg

1 1/4 cup brown sugar

Cream all of this together.

Add:

1 3/4 cup flour

3/4 tsp. baking soda

3/4 tsp. salt

Mix on low just until blended.

Spoon batter onto greased cookie sheets.  Flatten with a fork.

Bake at 325 degrees for 7 to 8 minutes

I use a potato masher to press the cookies
