Sweet Corn: This is the corn on the cob that is all white. It cooks faster because it has more sugar per kernel. It is very sweet and the more salt the better.
Corn on the cob: This is all yellow. It's a tougher kernel and needs to be cooked longer than sweet corn. Best for grilling.
Candy Corn: This corn has both yellow and white kernels. Cook according to corn on the cob. The white kernels will be softer than the yellow, but the combination of the two is awesome.
Feed corn: This corn is grown to feed cattle. If you can get corn fed beef you will have met your meat nirvana. Make sure to just get steaks and roasts. Ground beef that comes from corn-fed cows is no different from any other regional beef.
Seed corn: This crop is self explanatory.
If you are doing any of the edible corns, grab a corn boat and soak that shit in enough butter to slam at least two arteries shut and enough salt to raise your blood pressure to new heights. Total Yumminess!!!!!!!
